Wasaki Delle vs David Appiah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Ashanti promoted show at Kumasi Gyan, Kumasi,  taking place on 27/01/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wasaki Delle (9 - 11(1)) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and David Appiah(13(5) - 0) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Delle and Appiah weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chata Ankrah, and the three ringside judges are Louis Nkrumah, Amon Amartey and Ubanwa Akrofi.  

Round 1: 

Appiah is on target with a solid right uppercut to Delle's body.  
Delle sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Appiah lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Appiah closes the distance and is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Delle's ribs.  
Appiah closes the distance.  Appiah quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Delle throws a right hook, but Appiah holds on to his opponent.  Delle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
