Alejandro Cortes vs Jair Abila

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Baja California promoted show at Mexicali Malon, Mexicali,  taking place on 27/01/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Baja California Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Cortes (4 - 11 - 2) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Jair Abila(3 - 5 - 2 - 1(NC)) from Tijuana, Mexico.  Cortes weighed in at 199 pounds and 9 ounces, while Abila weighed in at 200 pounds.
