Juan Ponce vs Juan Munoz

Boxing Daily Report from the Shreveport Indicolites promoted show at Complejo Ferial de Puerto Rico, Ponce,  taking place on 03/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Ponce (9 - 8 - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Juan Munoz(9 - 15(1) - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Both Ponce and Munoz weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Magro, and the three ringside judges are Lorenzo Capo, Beltran Correira and Beltran Correira.  

Round 1: 

Ponce closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Ponce throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Munoz hits home with a right hook.  
Ponce advances into close range and forces Munoz to retreat into the corner.  Munoz is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.
