Paul Shah vs Lakista Kimeu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Tarbei, Mombasa,  taking place on 01/02/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Kenya-Mombasa Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Shah (11 - 1(1) - 4) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Lakista Kimeu(6 - 11 - 2) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Shah and Kimeu weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hassan Badini, and the three ringside judges are Michael Bwakali, Hayden Sakudao and Paul Kithuka.  

Round 1: 

Shah lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Shah is looking to close the distance.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shah dabs at his face checking for damage.  Shah has taken some damage there.  That has caused nasty swelling  around the right eye.

Kimeu tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Kimeu steps inside.  Shah connects with a right hook.  
Shah closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Shah closes the distance and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kimeu steps inside.  Shah is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Shah drives a left hook into Kimeu's ribs.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kimeu's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kimeu's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
