Ximen Lugo vs Marco Claudio

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Discoteca Palmahia, Medellin,  taking place on 26/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Colombia Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ximen Lugo (11(8) - 1) who hails from Barranquilla, Colombia and Marco Claudio(18(4) - 2) from Soledad, Colombia.  Lugo weighed in at 130 pounds, while Claudio weighed in at 129 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Rayo, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Morado, Santiago Montesano and Oihane Colon.  

Round 1: 

Lugo hits home with a firm cross.  
Lugo is on target with a jab.  
Lugo steps inside and digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Claudio lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lugo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lugo digs in a solid left hook to Claudio's ribs.  Lugo clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Lugo pushes his forearm into Claudio's face.  The referee warns Lugo and breaks the clinch.  
Claudio lands a stinging jab.  
Lugo steps inside and is on target with a sharp right uppercut.  
Lugo advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Claudio is looking to keep his distance.  Lugo lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Claudio almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lugo connects with an overhand right.  
Lugo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Claudio is on target with a left hook to Lugo's body.  
Lugo closes the distance.  Lugo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Lugo attempts to land a right uppercut, but Claudio blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lugo pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Lugo lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Lugo ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lugo lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lugo lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Lugo advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Claudio tries to step out of his opponents range.  Lugo is on target with a cross.  
Lugo gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Claudio steps to the outside.  Lugo throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lugo walks Claudio onto the ropes.  Lugo is on target with a right uppercut.  
Lugo closes the distance.  Claudio throws a left hook, but Lugo holds on to his opponent.  Claudio pushes his forearm into Lugo's face.  The referee warns Claudio and breaks the clinch.  
Claudio lands a jab.  
Lugo steps inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Lugo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Claudio's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Claudio's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Claudio steps away from his opponent.  Claudio sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Claudio throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Lugo advances into close range and lands a stinging left hook.  
Claudio switches the action to the outside.  Lugo is on target with a VICIOUS cross.  CLAUDIO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Lugo is looking to close the distance.  Some sustained pressure from Lugo could be enough to finish Claudio!  Lugo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING CLAUDIO TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  
Claudio switches the action to the outside.  Lugo is on target with a SAVAGE left hook.  DOWN GOES CLAUDIO!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Claudio now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Lugo gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Lugo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Lugo lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Lugo clinches his opponent.  Lugo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Lugo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lugo lands a solid right uppercut.  
Lugo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Lugo lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Lugo steps inside.  Lugo is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Lugo connects with a DESTRUCTIVE right uppercut.  CLAUDIO IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT GIVE CLAUDIO THE CHANCE TO BEAT THE COUNT...HE'S STOPPING THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Lugo!
