Boxing Daily Report from the AI Morocco-Doukkala-Abda promoted show at Safi Mellouk, Safi,  taking place on 02/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Morocco-Doukkala-Abda Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SNRT, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sabt Mellouk (15(14) - 1) who hails from El-Jadida, Morocco and Khalid Bashir(6 - 8(1) - 1) from El-Jadida, Morocco.  Both Mellouk and Bashir weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Al-Jasa Zouak, and the three ringside judges are Barii Madihi, Saad Raad and Moosa Chadid.  

Round 1: 

Mellouk is looking to close the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mellouk closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Mellouk ties up his opponent.  Mellouk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mellouk is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mellouk digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  Mellouk holds on to his opponent.  Mellouk is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Mellouk and breaks the clinch.  
Mellouk cuts off the ring, trapping Bashir in the corner.  Mellouk quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.

Mellouk forces Bashir to back into the blue corner.  Mellouk lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mellouk ties up his opponent.  Mellouk leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mellouk feints a jab and triggers a right hook counter from Bashir.  Mellouk is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mellouk closes the distance and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mellouk lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Mellouk holds on to his opponent.  Mellouk leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mellouk drives a firm right hook into Bashir's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BASHIR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Mellouk senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bashir and just needs the right shot.  Mellouk lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES BASHIR!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Bashir has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Mellouk is on target with a right uppercut to Bashir's ribcage.  
Mellouk lands a firm left hook.  
Mellouk lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mellouk closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Bashir's ribs.  
Bashir steps away from his opponent.  Mellouk is on target with a sharp cross.  
Mellouk steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Mellouk forces Bashir to back into a corner.  Mellouk lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mellouk lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mellouk is on target with a left uppercut to Bashir's body.  
Mellouk throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Mellouk holds on to his opponent.  Mellouk pushes his forearm into Bashir's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mellouk to stop fouling.  
Mellouk lands a cross.  
Mellouk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bashir's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Bashir's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Bashir's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Bashir is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Mellouk connects with a stinging cross.  
Mellouk closes the distance.  Bashir pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mellouk throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mellouk holds on to his opponent.  Mellouk leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mellouk drives a firm left uppercut into Bashir's body.  Mellouk clinches his opponent.  Mellouk tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bashir's kidney. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mellouk lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mellouk gets on the inside and is on target with a firm left hook.  
Mellouk lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Bashir steps to the outside.  Mellouk is looking to force the stoppage!  Mellouk lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND BASHIR IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Mellouk gets on the inside.  Mellouk SLAMS a FEROCIOUS left hook into his opponents face.  BASHIR IS DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Mellouk!
