Oro Castillon vs Loredo Antunez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Venezuela-Anzoategui promoted show at Barcelona Calleja, Barcelona,  taking place on 06/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Venezuela Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Meridiano TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oro Castillon (39(29) - 10(8)) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Loredo Antunez(5(2) - 3(3)) from Barcelona, Venezuela.  Both Castillon and Antunez weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Angel Mesa, and the three ringside judges are Emanuel Tax, Xaverius Estremera and Alejandro Celeste.  

Round 1: 

Antunez throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to Antunez's body.  
Castillon is looking to keep his distance.  Castillon drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Antunez lands with a stinging jab.

Antunez steps inside.  Castillon throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Antunez is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Antunez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Castillon tries to land a left hook, but Antunez blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Castillon steps away from his opponent.  Antunez lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Antunez advances into close range.  Castillon is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Antunez pivots from in front of his opponent.  Castillon hits home with a solid left hook.  
Castillon switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Antunez closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Castillon throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Castillon switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Castillon senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Castillon lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS ANTUNEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  It looks like Antunez has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Antunez tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Antunez is looking to close the distance.  Castillon is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Castillon steps away from his opponent.  Castillon sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a CRUSHING cross.  ANTUNEZ WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Antunez manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Castillon knows Antunez is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Castillon is on target with a WICKED left uppercut.  ANTUNEZ IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Antunez now seems to have his senses back.  
Antunez quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Castillon lands with a ramrod jab.  
Castillon switches the action to the outside and connects with a solid cross.  
Antunez advances into close range.  Antunez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Castillon lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Antunez recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Castillon steps to the outside.  Castillon feints a right, and then hits home with a stinging cross.  
Antunez lands with a hard jab.  
Antunez steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a nasty left uppercut to his opponents body.  ANTUNEZ IS HURT!  
Some sustained pressure from Castillon could be enough to finish Antunez!  Castillon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS ANTUNEZ SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Castillon!
