Mark Rocks vs Joshua Kenison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Alabama promoted show at Von Braun Center Playhouse, Huntsville,  taking place on 06/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Rocks (37(17) - 13(8) - 2) who hails from Birmingham, USA and Joshua Kenison(16 - 10(1) - 5) from Birmingham, USA.  Rocks weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kenison weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Dunn, and the three ringside judges are Jonathan Reid, Stephen Glasford and Joey Glasson.  

Round 1: 

Kenison attempts to land a cross, but Rocks sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Rocks quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits the target with a stinging jab.

Rocks switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Rocks pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Rocks steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Rocks is looking to keep his distance and lands a sharp overhand right.  
Rocks is on target with a firm overhand right.  
Rocks feints a right, and then connects with an overhand left.  
Rocks lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Kenison quickly recovers.

Kenison manouvers Rocks onto the ropes.  Rocks lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Kenison hits home with a right hook.

Rocks lands with a solid jab.  Rocks throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Rocks lands a forceful cross.  KENISON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Rocks senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Rocks lands a right hook, cross and a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  The winner by KO is Rocks!
