Nwa Hanekom vs Laken Govender

Boxing Daily Report from the Jobivore Boxing promoted show at Nasrec Indoor Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 04/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Nwa Hanekom (20(7) - 1(1)) who hails from Cape Town, South Africa and Laken Govender(28(4) - 2(1)) from Randburg, South Africa.  Hanekom weighed in at 147 pounds, while Govender weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Simba Bariagher, and the three ringside judges are Mzikayise Tlolane, John Kisombo and Roos Van der Linde.
