Cody Morrison vs Neil Villalobos

Boxing Daily Report from the Dayo Olatunbosun promoted show at 16th Street Station, Oakland,  taking place on 17/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Cody Morrison (12 - 13(1) - 2) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Neil Villalobos(29(15) - 5(2) - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Both Morrison and Villalobos weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Moffet, and the three ringside judges are Sid Marcial, James Keay and John Summerfield.  

Round 1: 

Villalobos advances into close range and hits home with a right uppercut.  
Villalobos throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Villalobos holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Villalobos pushes his forearm into Morrison's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Villalobos closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Morrison's body.  Villalobos holds on to his opponent.  Villalobos leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Villalobos is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Villalobos and breaks the clinch.  
Villalobos lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Villalobos drives a solid right hook into Morrison's ribs.  
Villalobos crashes a big left hook to Morrison's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MORRISON WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Morrison recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Villalobos is on target with a right hook to Morrison's body.  
Villalobos throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Villalobos holds on to his opponent.  Villalobos leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Villalobos pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Morrison's body.  
Villalobos manouvers Morrison into a neutral corner.  Villalobos sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a stinging right hook to Morrison's ribs.  
Morrison lands a jab.  
Villalobos sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Morrison finds the target with a jab.  
Villalobos advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Villalobos senses Morrison is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Villalobos lands a right hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Villalobos lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, DROPPING MORRISON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
Morrison is looking to keep his distance.  Villalobos slams a DEVASTATING right uppercut into Morrison's body.  MORRISON HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT!  HE DOES NOT BELIEVE MORRISON CAN CONTINUE!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Villalobos!
