Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Lavaughn Kimutai Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 15/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steven Chepchirchir (28(2) - 7(1)) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Paul Kimeli(15(7) - 2(1)) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Chepchirchir weighed in at 134 pounds and 10 ounces, while Kimeli weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Scott Merande, Nathan Andersson and Luister Mutahi.
