Venacio Astorga vs Anthony MacVicar

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 18/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Venacio Astorga (8(6) - 0) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Anthony MacVicar(14 - 14(2) - 3) from Limerick, Ireland.  Both Astorga and MacVicar weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dan McCorquodale, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Leeroy MacEwan and Joshua Higgins.  

Round 1: 

Astorga is looking to close the distance.  Astorga sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  MacVicar throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Astorga clinches his opponent.  Astorga is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Astorga pushes his forearm into MacVicar's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Astorga is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  Astorga holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Astorga pushes his forearm into MacVicar's face.  The ref breaks Astorga's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
MacVicar pivots to the side of his opponent.  Astorga lands a left uppercut.  
MacVicar tries to keep the action at long range.  Astorga lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
MacVicar is looking to keep his distance.  Astorga lands two straights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.

Astorga is looking to close the distance and DETONATES a SAVAGE left hook on his opponents face.  MACVICAR WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  MacVicar quickly recovers.

At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...MacVicar's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  MacVicar's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Some sustained pressure from Astorga could be enough to finish MacVicar!  Astorga digs in a weighty right hook to MacVicar's body.  MACVICAR IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Astorga!
