Dierck Birkner vs Burnell Gier

Boxing Daily Report from the BoxHaus AG promoted show at Porsche Arena, Stuttgart,  taking place on 20/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Germany-Baden-Wurttemberg Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dierck Birkner (9(2) - 0) who hails from Mannheim, Germany and Burnell Gier(17 - 16(3) - 7) from Mannheim, Germany.  Both Birkner and Gier weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kulbart Amelung, and the three ringside judges are Kurt Kuk, Ritt Pfister and David Andes.  

Round 1: 

Birkner closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Birkner drives a forceful left hook into his opponents liver.  GIER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Birkner lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS GIER TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Gier the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Birkner!
