Santiago Enriquez vs Vince Marr

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 04/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Enriquez (11(9) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Vince Marr(20 - 11(1) - 3) from Toronto, Canada.  Both Enriquez and Marr weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shane MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Brett Rabbitt, Mark McClellan and Lee Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Enriquez closes the distance.  Enriquez retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Marr is whaling away with hooks, but Enriquez keeps his defence tight.

Marr pivots to the left of his opponent.  Marr throws a left hook, but Enriquez holds on to his opponent.  Enriquez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Marr tries to keep the action at long range.  Marr sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Enriquez lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Marr pivots to the right of his opponent.  Enriquez lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Marr recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Enriquez advances into close range.  Marr pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marr connects with a left hook.  Enriquez clinches his opponent.  Enriquez leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Marr switches the action to the outside.  Enriquez lands two overhand rights followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Enriquez is looking to close the distance.  Marr sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Enriquez lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Enriquez holds on to his opponent.  Enriquez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Marr is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Marr sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Enriquez lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Marr is not fighting as well as he'd like.   He advances forward with head down and it catches Enriquez in the face!  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  The ref halts the action and sends Enriquez to the neutral corner.    He tells Marr to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.  
Marr pivots to the side of his opponent.  Enriquez attempts to land a right uppercut, but Marr slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Enriquez is looking to close the distance.  Marr pivots to the left of his opponent.  Enriquez is on target with a powerful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MARR WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Enriquez is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Enriquez lands a nasty right uppercut.  DOWN GOES MARR!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Enriquez DETONATES a DEVASTATING cross on his opponents face.  MARR HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Enriquez!
