Goro Nomura vs Carl McAlister

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at City West Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 04/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Goro Nomura (1 - 0) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Carl McAlister(10 - 15(1) - 4) from Waterford, Ireland.  Nomura weighed in at 174 pounds and 13 ounces, while McAlister weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shane MacNevin, and the three ringside judges are Brett Rabbitt, Mark McClellan and Lee Taggart.  

Round 1: 

Nomura advances into close range and digs in a left uppercut to McAlister's liver.
