Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kanagawa promoted show at Yokohama Koga, Yokohama,  taking place on 23/02/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Yasushi Nakamura (8(4) - 1) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Yoshi Kitagawa(11 - 13(3) - 2) from Sapporo, Japan.  Both Nakamura and Kitagawa weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nori Sato, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Miyake, Kyo Kimura and Ryuu Seno.  

Round 1: 

Nakamura is looking to close the distance.  Nakamura pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Nakamura lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kitagawa finds the target with a jab.  Kitagawa throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Nakamura's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Nakamura closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nakamura sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Nakamura is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Nakamura is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Nakamura lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kitagawa tries to keep the action at long range and attempts to land an overhand left, but Nakamura sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Nakamura is looking to close the distance.  Kitagawa throws a right hook, but Nakamura clinches his opponent.  Nakamura uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kitagawa behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Nakamura about fouling.  
Nakamura digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  Nakamura holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Nakamura pushes his forearm into Kitagawa's face.  The referee warns Nakamura and breaks the clinch.  
Nakamura sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Nakamura advances into close range and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nakamura drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Nakamura throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Kitagawa time to recover.  
Nakamura gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kitagawa dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kitagawa has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Nakamura connects with a solid right hook.  
Kitagawa throws a left hook, but Nakamura holds on to his opponent.  Nakamura leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kitagawa tries to step out of his opponents range.  Nakamura connects with a cross.  
Nakamura manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Nakamura lands a cross to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Nakamura steps inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Kitagawa switches the action to the outside.  Nakamura connects with a solid cross.  
Nakamura lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kitagawa's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kitagawa's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kitagawa's trainer is passing on some tactical advice. Kitagawa sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Nakamura lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Nakamura clinches his opponent.  Nakamura is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nakamura to stop fouling.  
Kitagawa is looking to keep his distance.  Nakamura connects with a MASSIVE cross.  KITAGAWA IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Kitagawa hits home with a cross.  
Nakamura is looking to close the distance.  Kitagawa pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nakamura lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS KITAGAWA DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Kitagawa cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Nakamura!
