Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Qualcomm Stadium, San Diego,  taking place on 12/04/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are James Thunder Umanzor (50(42) - 3(1)) who hails from Santa Ana, USA and Alfonso Gomez(21(1) - 8(4)) from Quito, Ecuador.  Umanzor weighed in at 239 pounds And 4 ounces, while Gomez weighed in at 237 pounds And 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Greg Blanco, and the three ringside judges are Dillon Ireland, David Moreman and Declan Gaunce.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Umanzor has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Umanzor switches the action to the outside and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Gomez pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gomez throws a right uppercut, but Umanzor ties up his opponent.  Gomez leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Umanzor lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Umanzor tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Gomez digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Gomez walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Gomez lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Gomez is looking to close the distance.  Gomez sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Umanzor hits home with a stinging left hook.  Umanzor clinches his opponent.  Gomez pushes his forearm into Umanzor's face.  The referee warns Gomez and breaks the clinch.

Umanzor steps away from his opponent and lands a cross, overhand left and a cross to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Umanzor thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Gomez away.  Umanzor lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES GOMEZ!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Umanzor!
