Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at UST Sports Centre, Manila,  taking place on 01/02/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Leen Machine Thyssens (26(18) - 7(4) - 2) who hails from Utrecht, Netherlands and Lorenzo Villagomez(23 - 10(1) - 3) from Davao City, Philippines.  Both Thyssens and Villagomez weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gig Puyat, and the three ringside judges are Ian Ablasa, Bruce Barretto and Jaguar Gador.  

Round 1: 

Thyssens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Villagomez steps inside.  Thyssens throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Thyssens clinches his opponent.  Thyssens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Villagomez steps inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Thyssens slips the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Thyssens waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Villagomez tries to land a jab, but Thyssens sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Thyssens steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS VILLAGOMEZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Villagomez quickly recovers. 
Villagomez is looking to close the distance.  Thyssens pivots to the left of his opponent.  Thyssens lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  Thyssens holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Thyssens pushes his forearm into Villagomez's face.  The referee warns Thyssens and breaks the clinch.  
Thyssens is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Thyssens lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Villagomez quickly recovers. 
Thyssens feints a right hook, and then lands a solid cross.

Thyssens is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Thyssens hits home with a cross.  
Thyssens sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Villagomez advances into close range and manouvers Thyssens onto the ropes.  Thyssens lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Villagomez's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Villagomez's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Villagomez's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Thyssens steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Villagomez quickly recovers. 
Thyssens lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Thyssens EXPLODES a mean overhand right into his opponents face.  VILLAGOMEZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  
Thyssens tries to keep the action at long range.  Villagomez lands a cross.

Villagomez closes the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Villagomez throws a left hook, but Thyssens holds on to his opponent.  Thyssens uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Villagomez behind the head. 
Villagomez gets on the inside.  Thyssens is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Thyssens lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Villagomez pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Thyssens steps away from his opponent and throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Thyssens lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Villagomez is looking to close the distance.  Thyssens lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Thyssens switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Thyssens feints a jab, and then lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING VILLAGOMEZ DOWN!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Villagomez can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Thyssens!
