Richie Kuan vs Ken-arok Mboi

Boxing Daily Report from the Sultan's Fists promoted show at Shah Alam Convention Centre, Shah Alam,  taking place on 04/03/2035:

Clearly Sultan's Fists have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richie Kuan (21(12) - 3(2)) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Ken-arok Mboi(26(3) - 1) from Serang, Indonesia.  Both Kuan and Mboi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Asif Hashim, and the three ringside judges are Haider Kabir, Gethin Trinh and Ananth Gangwar.  

Round 1: 

Kuan drives a stinging right uppercut into Mboi's body.  
Kuan steps inside and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS MBOI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Mboi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Mboi is on target with a left hook.  
Mboi lands a spiteful jab.  
Kuan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mboi is on target with a left hook.  
Mboi tries to keep the action at long range.  Kuan is on target with a cross.  
Kuan closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kuan tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  
Mboi feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Kuan closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Kuan lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Kuan advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  
Kuan throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Kuan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Kuan lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND SENDS MBOI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Mboi recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Kuan manouvers Mboi into the blue corner.  Kuan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kuan advances into close range and connects with a right hook.  
Mboi tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kuan lands a firm cross.  
Mboi pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kuan is on target with a jab.

Round 2: 

Kuan digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mboi finds the target with a jab.  
Mboi switches the action to the outside.  Kuan finds the target with a jab.  
Kuan drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Kuan walks Mboi down, trapping him in the red corner.  Kuan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mboi throws a left uppercut, but Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Kuan to stop fouling.  
Kuan connects with a left hook.  
Kuan advances into close range.  Kuan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kuan crashes a big left uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MBOI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Kuan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mboi behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mboi could be stopped here, if Kuan can find the right shot!  Kuan whips in a hurtful right hook to Mboi's body.  DOWN GOES MBOI!  He manages to get up at 4.  Mboi now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mboi lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kuan steps inside.  Mboi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mboi throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING MBOI TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Mboi almost instantly recovers. 
Mboi is on target with a solid jab.  
Mboi is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Mboi tries to land a cross, but Kuan dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuan steps inside and digs in a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Mboi pivots to the side of his opponent.  Kuan digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kuan clinches his opponent.  Mboi is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mboi about fouling.  
Mboi lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mboi forces Kuan to back into the ropes.  Kuan lands a sharp cross to his opponents body.  
Kuan advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mboi sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Kuan lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kuan connects with a solid cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mboi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Kuan attempts to land a cross, but Mboi slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Mboi digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Mboi throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Kuan lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mboi forces Kuan to retreat onto the ropes.  Mboi feints a jab, and then attempts to land a left hook, but Kuan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kuan closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Kuan digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan gets on the inside.  Kuan sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Kuan closes the distance.  As Kuan tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mboi dabs at his face checking for damage.  Mboi has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Kuan is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Kuan closes the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Mboi hits home with a solid cross.  
Kuan steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND MBOI IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Kuan holds on to his opponent.  Kuan leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Kuan sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into Mboi's ribs.  
Kuan is on target with a weighty right hook to Mboi's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE MBOI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kuan is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Kuan lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND DROPS MBOI!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Kuan!
