Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 17/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rodrigo Dimailig (4(1) - 0) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Kenzie Cure(0 - 1) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Dimailig and Cure weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Vaux, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Dorch, Dale Mostyn and Waraki Kawau.  

Round 1: 

Dimailig closes the distance and is on target with a solid right hook.  Dimailig clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Dimailig pushes his forearm into Cure's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Dimailig about fouling.  
Dimailig digs in a left hook to Cure's body.  Dimailig ties up his opponent.  Dimailig leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dimailig's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cure throws a left hook, but Dimailig clinches his opponent.  Dimailig throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Dimailig and breaks the clinch.  
Dimailig connects with a solid cross.  
Cure waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Dimailig lands a jab.  
Dimailig gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Cure recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dimailig advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Dimailig lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Dimailig walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Dimailig drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Dimailig holds on to his opponent.  Dimailig is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dimailig lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dimailig is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Dimailig lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING CURE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Some sustained pressure from Dimailig could be enough to finish Cure!  Dimailig lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, DROPPING CURE TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Dimailig whips in a DEVASTATING right uppercut to Cure's body.  CURE IS DOWN!  THE REF DOES NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH THE COUNT...HE'S SEEN ENOUGH AND HAS STOPPED THE FIGHT!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Dimailig!
