Hasanagha Maharramov vs Arnie Mabon

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Videotron Centre, Quebec City,  taking place on 17/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Hasanagha Maharramov (7(3) - 0) who hails from Namangan, Uzbekistan and Arnie Mabon(10 - 11(1) - 4) from Vancouver, Canada.  Maharramov weighed in at 254 pounds and 11 ounces, while Mabon weighed in at 250 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nicholas Prior, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Morton, Louis Gillespie and Michael Oliver.  

Round 1: 

Maharramov advances into close range.  Maharramov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Maharramov lands a left hook.  Maharramov clinches his opponent.  Maharramov tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mabon's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Maharramov about fouling.  
Maharramov lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Maharramov holds on to his opponent.  Maharramov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Maharramov finds the target with a jab.  
Maharramov steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mabon tries to keep the action at long range.  Maharramov lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Maharramov steps inside.  Mabon throws a left uppercut, but Maharramov ties up his opponent.  Maharramov uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mabon behind the head. The ref breaks Maharramov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maharramov advances into close range and lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mabon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maharramov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maharramov forces Mabon to retreat onto the ropes.  Maharramov is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  
Maharramov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Maharramov feints a left hook, but Mabon does not fall for it and responds with a cross.  
Mabon is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Maharramov lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mabon's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mabon's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Mabon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Mabon's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Maharramov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Maharramov lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Mabon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maharramov advances into close range.  Maharramov quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Maharramov throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Maharramov holds on to his opponent.  Maharramov is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Maharramov.  
Maharramov is looking to close the distance.  Mabon throws a right hook, but Maharramov holds on to his opponent.  Maharramov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Maharramov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Maharramov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Maharramov lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Mabon is looking to keep his distance.  Maharramov lands a FEARSOME cross.  MABON WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mabon recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Maharramov lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS MABON SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Maharramov advances into close range.  Maharramov knows Mabon is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Maharramov lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS MABON!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Maharramov!
