Nemesio Olmo vs Alano Giron

Boxing Daily Report from the Kajoba Promotions promoted show at Juan Morgado Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 26/02/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nemesio Olmo (15 - 16(5) - 2) who hails from Saltillo, Mexico and Alano Giron(4 - 7 - 3) from Torreon, Mexico.  Both Olmo and Giron weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Milan, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Lechuga, Montel Cassillas and Selestino Briones.  

Round 1: 

Olmo contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Giron lands a cross.  
Giron sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Olmo lands a left hook.  
Giron is looking to close the distance.  Olmo drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Olmo switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right.

Giron steps inside.  Giron wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Olmo has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
