Angel Villalon vs Montenegro Peres

Boxing Daily Report from the Anyidoho Promotions promoted show at Vidal Pascua Gym, Leon,  taking place on 27/02/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Guanajuato Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Angel Villalon (14 - 20 - 3) who hails from Leon, Mexico and Montenegro Peres(16(1) - 4) from Leon, Mexico.  Both Villalon and Peres weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leonardo Holguin, and the three ringside judges are Cruz Pilar, Eduardo Barraza and Santiago Mantilla.  

Round 1: 

Peres advances into close range.  Peres sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Peres is on target with a left hook to Villalon's body.  Peres ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Villalon pushes his forearm into Peres's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
