Alejandro Matas vs Jose Matalon

Boxing Daily Report from the Miguel promoted show at Tlaquepaque Portillo, Tlaquepaque,  taking place on 01/03/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Jalisco Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Matas (19 - 10(2) - 2) who hails from Zapopan, Mexico and Jose Matalon(6 - 6(1)) from Guadalajara, Mexico.  Matas weighed in at 244 pounds and 15 ounces, while Matalon weighed in at 237 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Calzadilla, and the three ringside judges are Quico Mosso, Felippe Jacobo and Macario Floro.
