Lorenzo Segundo vs Rodrigo Quilong-quilong

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Batangas City Sports Center, Batangas City,  taking place on 18/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lorenzo Segundo (15(12) - 0) who hails from Taguig, Philippines and Rodrigo Quilong-quilong(19 - 4(1)) from Zamboanga City, Philippines.  Both Segundo and Quilong-quilong weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Alinsangan, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Lumala, Rodrigo Arco and Rob Dungo.  

Round 1: 

Segundo lands an overhand right, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Segundo connects with a solid cross.  
Segundo throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Segundo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Segundo thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Quilong-quilong away.  Segundo lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING QUILONG-QUILONG DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Quilong-quilong has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Segundo steps away from his opponent.  Segundo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Segundo switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Segundo is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Segundo throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Segundo holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Segundo pushes his forearm into Quilong-quilong's face.  The referee warns Segundo and breaks the clinch.  
Segundo is on target with a firm right hook to Quilong-quilong's ribs.  
Segundo switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Segundo lands a jab.  Segundo attempts to land a jab, but Quilong-quilong parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Quilong-quilong sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Quilong-quilong throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a mean right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE QUILONG-QUILONG WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Quilong-quilong quickly recovers. 
Quilong-quilong sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Segundo steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Segundo switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Quilong-quilong gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Segundo clinches his opponent.  Segundo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Quilong-quilong lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Segundo digs in a stinging left uppercut to Quilong-quilong's ribs.  Segundo holds on to his opponent.  Segundo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Segundo is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with an overhand right.  Segundo tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Quilong-quilong lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Quilong-quilong's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Segundo pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Segundo tries to keep the action at long range and tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Segundo SLAMS a WICKED cross into his opponents face.  QUILONG-QUILONG IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Segundo!
