Deshi Tay vs Satoru Watanabe

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Fujian Olympic Sports Center Gymnasium, Fuzhou,  taking place on 22/03/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Deshi Tay (13(9) - 0) who hails from Quanzhou, China and Satoru Watanabe(4 - 3(1)) from Yokohama, Japan.  Both Tay and Watanabe weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gao Louie, and the three ringside judges are Jing Kane, Shing Min and Huang-fu Shu.  

Round 1: 

Tay advances into close range.  Tay pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tay lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Tay ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tay pushes his forearm into Watanabe's face.  The referee warns Tay and breaks the clinch.  
Tay leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Watanabe is whaling away with hooks, but Tay keeps his defence tight.  
Tay lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tay closes the distance.  Tay wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Watanabe dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Tay is on target with a left hook.  Tay clinches his opponent.  Tay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Tay's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Tay finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Tay lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tay lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Tay holds on to his opponent.  Tay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tay gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  Tay clinches his opponent.  Tay is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Tay uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Watanabe behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tay lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Tay closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tay gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Tay ties up his opponent.  Tay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tay tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Watanabe behind the head. 
Tay lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tay is on target with a left hook.  
Tay hits home with a right hook.  
Tay lands a solid left hook.  
Tay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Watanabe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tay lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Tay throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Watanabe is on target with a cross.  
Tay steps inside and drives a right hook into Watanabe's body.  
Watanabe attempts to land a right hook, but Tay slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Tay lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Tay ties up his opponent.  Tay leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Tay hits home with a right hook.  
Tay lands a left hook.  Tay clinches his opponent.  Tay leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Watanabe's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Watanabe's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Watanabe's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Frustration is reaching boiling point for Watanabe now.   He steps inside, but then strikes Tay with his head!  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  The ref stops the action and tells Watanabe to watch his head.  He gives Tay time to recover.  
Frustration is starting to boil over for Watanabe now.   He turns Tay and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref ignores Tay's protests and signals for the action to continue!

Tay lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
