Phil Gilchrist vs Paul Uys

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 11/04/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Commonwealth Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shotgun Phil Gilchrist (42(24) - 1 - 1) who hails from Brampton, Canada and Paul Uys(16 - 6) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Gilchrist and Uys weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Mowat, and the three ringside judges are Dave Brown, Leo Gaddie and Lionel Phillippe.
