Jose Colon vs Dai Molloy

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at LIV Nightclub, Miami,  taking place on 16/03/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Colon (19(11) - 0) who hails from Santo Domingo Norte, Dominican Republic and Dai Molloy(18 - 9(1) - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Colon weighed in at 248 pounds and 12 ounces, while Molloy weighed in at 243 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Onofre Villagomez, and the three ringside judges are Paul Bason, John Owens and Fraser Vail.  

Round 1: 

Colon lands a cross.  
Colon steps inside.  Colon sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Colon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Colon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Colon pushes his forearm into Molloy's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Colon digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Colon is on target with a sharp left hook to Molloy's body.  
Colon advances into close range and walks his opponent into the corner.  Colon connects with a left uppercut.  
Colon lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Colon holds on to his opponent.  Colon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Colon.  Molloy recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Molloy is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Colon sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Colon drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Colon clinches his opponent.  Colon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Colon thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Molloy away.  Colon lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  It looks like Molloy has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Colon gets on the inside and whips in a hurtful right uppercut to Molloy's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOLLOY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Colon is looking to force the stoppage!  Colon lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He then lands a cross to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body, AND MOLLOY IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5. Molloy throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE MOLLOY WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Molloy quickly recovers. 
Colon steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Colon ties up his opponent.  Colon is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Colon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Molloy's kidney. 
Molloy pivots to the side of his opponent.  Colon drives a stinging left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Colon advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to Molloy's body.  
Colon manouvers Molloy onto the ropes.  Colon whips in a big right uppercut to his opponents body.  MOLLOY IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  Colon clinches his opponent.  Colon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Molloy's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Molloy's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Molloy's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Molloy's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Colon whips in a mean left hook to Molloy's ribs.  Molloy now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Colon lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Colon forces Molloy to retreat into the corner.  Colon lands a right uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Molloy lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
