David Saomba vs Bryan Tekere

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zimbabwe-Harare promoted show at Harare Plessis, Harare,  taking place on 10/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Saomba (21 - 12(6) - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Bryan Tekere(15 - 0 - 1) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Saomba weighed in at 140 pounds, while Tekere weighed in at 139 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Tekere, and the three ringside judges are Matt Thorburn, Lado Nkala and Stephen Mubako.  

Round 1:

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saomba dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Saomba.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
