John Gyan vs Montraie Koranteng

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Ametepey, Accra,  taking place on 14/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Gyan (4 - 3(1) - 1) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Montraie Koranteng(15 - 17(1) - 2) from Achiaman, Ghana.  Gyan weighed in at 108 pounds, while Koranteng weighed in at 108 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Koranteng came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Noel Koranteng, and the three ringside judges are Nabulung Berko, Corey Offei and Chris Dokuaa.
