Brett Mattas vs Dominic Magee

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Luna Park Big Top, Sydney,  taking place on 31/03/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Mattas (12 - 0) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Dominic Magee(6 - 11 - 3) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Mattas and Magee weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nick Eade, and the three ringside judges are Aaron Hepburn, Lewis MacConnell and Dave Telfair.  

Round 1: 

Magee closes the distance.  Mattas sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Mattas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a sharp cross.  
Mattas steps to the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Magee steps inside.  Mattas pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Mattas is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a firm overhand right.  
Magee gets on the inside.  Mattas drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Mattas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mattas throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Mattas ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Mattas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mattas lands a solid overhand left.  
Mattas lands a jab.  
Magee connects with a left hook.  
Magee advances into close range.  Mattas lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Mattas holds on to his opponent.  Magee uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mattas behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Magee.  
Mattas throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Mattas holds on to his opponent.  Magee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mattas feints a cross, and then lands with a sharp jab.  
Mattas strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Magee closes the distance and walks Mattas down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mattas hits home with a left hook.  Mattas clinches his opponent.  Mattas pushes his forearm into Magee's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mattas about fouling.  
Mattas backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Magee tries to tag Mattas on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Mattas connects with a right hook.  
Mattas steps to the outside and lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.

Magee advances into close range.  Mattas hits home with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Magee dabs at his face checking for damage.

Magee sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Mattas lands an overhand right, jab and an overhand left to his opponents head.
