Brett Rebecca vs Ian Hackney

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Glitterdome, Denver,  taking place on 17/03/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Brett Rebecca (1 - 0) who hails from Bakersfield, USA and Ian Hackney(6 - 15(1) - 4) from Miami, USA.  Rebecca weighed in at 200 pounds, while Hackney weighed in at 199 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Seff, and the three ringside judges are Brad Spaulding, Declan Patterson and Mark Notman.  

Round 1: 

Rebecca hits home with a left hook.  
Rebecca steps inside.  Rebecca digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Rebecca attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Hackney time to recover.  
As Rebecca tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hackney dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Rebecca manages to force Hackney onto the ropes.  Rebecca lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Rebecca lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Rebecca lands a sharp right hook.  
Rebecca walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hackney throws a right hook, but Rebecca clinches his opponent.  Rebecca leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Rebecca's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rebecca is on target with a left uppercut.  
Rebecca digs in a left hook to Hackney's body.  
Rebecca throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Hackney's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Rebecca advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Rebecca walks his opponent into the corner.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rebecca dabs at his face checking for damage.  Rebecca has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Rebecca throws a left uppercut, but is off-target.  Rebecca clinches his opponent.  Rebecca pushes his forearm into Hackney's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Rebecca lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rebecca throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rebecca's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Hackney's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Hackney's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
