Kailash Shukla vs Lakshman Mallappa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Delhi promoted show at Praveen Joshi Gym, New Delhi,  taking place on 25/03/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Delhi Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kailash Shukla (5 - 16(1) - 4) who hails from New Delhi, India and Lakshman Mallappa(12 - 20 - 5) from New Delhi, India.  Both Shukla and Mallappa weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malik Baten, and the three ringside judges are Jasvinder Ramesh, Ganesa Molhu and Ahmed Ibrahim.  

Round 1: 

Mallappa sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shukla hits home with a left uppercut.  
Shukla tries to land a jab, but Mallappa dodges the shot and counters with a cross.
