Matthew McGregor vs Ian Shortt

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast,  taking place on 14/04/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Matthew McGregor (4 - 16(1) - 5) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Ian Shortt(8 - 11 - 5) from Cairns, Australia.  Both McGregor and Shortt weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Billy Pryce, and the three ringside judges are Sammy Feamster, William Ferries and Justin Din.  

Round 1: 

Shortt lands a jab.  
Shortt gets on the inside.  McGregor connects with a left hook.  
Shortt is on target with a right uppercut.
