Daiki Kitamura vs Hiro Kojima

Boxing Daily Report from the Lampi Promotions promoted show at Hajime Go Gym, Sapporo,  taking place on 30/03/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hokkaido Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Kitamura (4 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Hiro Kojima(7 - 3) from Sapporo, Japan.  Kitamura weighed in at 174 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kojima weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kyo Minami, and the three ringside judges are Aki Mizuno, Michi Kaneko and Kaede Takenaka.  

Round 1: 

Kojima gets on the inside.  Kojima quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kitamura throws a right uppercut, but Kojima holds on to his opponent.  Kojima pushes his forearm into Kitamura's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kojima about fouling.

Kitamura pivots to the left of his opponent.  Kitamura throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kitamura attempts to land a cross, but Kojima slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Kitamura's ribs.
