Orji Gowon vs Ogenyi Ikpeme

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Rivers State promoted show at Nigeria-Rivers State Gym, Port Harcourt,  taking place on 04/04/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Rivers State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orji Gowon (24 - 2 - 2) who hails from Port Harcourt, Nigeria and Ogenyi Ikpeme(14 - 8(1) - 3) from Port Harcourt, Nigeria.  Gowon weighed in at 168 pounds and 10 ounces, while Ikpeme weighed in at 168 pounds.    As Gowon came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the titles on the line tonight.  
The referee tonight is Gbolahan Olatuga, and the three ringside judges are Prince Nwapa, Izunna Abulu and Alen Akika.
