Ciaran McCaig vs Denton Atcheson

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vodafone Event Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 14/04/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ciaran McCaig (3 - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Denton Atcheson(3 - 2 - 1) from Sydney, Australia.  McCaig weighed in at 108 pounds, while Atcheson weighed in at 107 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ollie Scobie, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Vaughan, Kieran Beynon and Dave Forbush.  

Round 1: 

McCaig pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a solid left hook into Atcheson's body.  
McCaig pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
McCaig lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McCaig advances into close range and lands a left hook.  
McCaig gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  McCaig holds on to his opponent.  McCaig throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. McCaig leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
McCaig lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
McCaig forces Atcheson to back into the corner.  McCaig lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McCaig lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McCaig lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
McCaig pivots to the right of his opponent.  Atcheson throws a right hook, but McCaig ties up his opponent.  McCaig is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns McCaig and breaks the clinch.

Atcheson throws a right hook, but McCaig ties up his opponent.  McCaig tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Atcheson behind the head. The ref breaks McCaig's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

McCaig advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

McCaig lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.
