John McClarnon vs Dan Mason

Boxing Daily Report from the No Limit promoted show at Brisbane Linn, Brisbane,  taking place on 14/04/2035:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John McClarnon (24(1) - 22) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Dan Mason(7 - 5(1) - 4) from Brisbane, Australia.  McClarnon weighed in at 200 pounds, while Mason weighed in at 199 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart Albert, and the three ringside judges are Mark Lockie, Francesco Ghiglia and Ian Rabb.  

Round 1: 

McClarnon lands a left uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head.

Mason now seems to have got his legs back.

Mason is starting to lose his temper here.   He advances forward with head down and it catches McClarnon in the face!  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye. McClarnon steps inside and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
McClarnon stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  McClarnon lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, DROPPING MASON TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Mason now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Mason gets on the inside.  McClarnon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  McClarnon tries to land a right hook, but Mason parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
As Mason tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to McClarnon.  The foul has worsened the damage  around the right eye.  
McClarnon lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McClarnon hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
McClarnon walks his opponent onto the ropes.  McClarnon lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS MASON DOWN!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is McClarnon!
