Beltran Menor vs Miguel Sarmento

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul promoted show at Quito Rama Gym, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 19/04/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Beltran Menor (11 - 4 - 1) who hails from Natal, Brazil and Miguel Sarmento(14 - 6(1)) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Both Menor and Sarmento weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Marcial, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Gonsales, Vicente Graca and Fresco Rebelo.  

Round 1: 

Sarmento advances into close range.  Menor pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Menor voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Sarmento accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Menor.  
Sarmento is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Menor sidesteps and counters with a cross.
