Harper Mehl vs Hardicanute Skare

Boxing Daily Report from the Mr. Vicious promoted show at Croke Park, Dublin,  taking place on 28/04/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Harper Mehl (29(25) - 0) who hails from Oslo, Norway and Hardicanute Skare(16(1) - 3 - 2) from Oslo, Norway.  Mehl weighed in at 200 pounds, while Skare weighed in at 199 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Byrne, and the three ringside judges are Michael Sloan, Shane Cody and Cillian Murphy.  

Round 1: 

Mehl is looking to close the distance.  Mehl pivots to the right of his opponent.  As Mehl tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Skare.  That has caused damage to the nose.  
Mehl is looking to close the distance and lands two left uppercuts to the body, and one to the head.  
Skare throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Skare lands a left hook.  
Mehl lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Mehl advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Skare steps away from his opponent.  Mehl sidesteps to the right of his opponent and strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Skare attempts to land a right hook, but Mehl slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Skare is on target with a left hook.  
Mehl connects with a sharp left hook.  Mehl throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Mehl advances into close range.  Skare pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mehl lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Skare finds the target with a hard jab.  
Mehl advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Mehl pushes his forearm into Skare's face.  The referee warns Mehl and breaks the clinch.  
Mehl drives a left hook into Skare's body.  
Mehl is on target with a jab.  
Mehl is looking to close the distance.  Skare pivots to the side of his opponent.  Mehl digs in a powerful left hook to Skare's body.  SKARE IS HURT!  As Mehl tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Skare has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.  Skare recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Skare's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Skare attempts to land a jab, but Mehl parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Skare steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left hook to Skare's liver.  
Skare steps to the outside.  Mehl is on target with a cross.  
Skare tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to Skare's body.  
Mehl lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Skare almost instantly recovers. 
Skare lands a right hook.  
Mehl advances into close range.  Skare throws a right uppercut, but Mehl ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mehl walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mehl lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mehl steps inside.  Skare pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mehl drives a firm right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mehl crashes a mean right hook to Skare's ribs.  SKARE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Skare leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Skare pushes his forearm into Mehl's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mehl senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Skare and just needs the right shot.  Mehl lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SKARE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  It looks like Skare has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Skare drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Mehl quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mehl advances into close range and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Skare quickly recovers. 
Mehl lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Mehl advances into close range.  Skare sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mehl is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Mehl clinches his opponent.  Skare is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Mehl's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mehl closes the distance.  Skare hits home with a left hook.  Mehl holds on to his opponent.  Mehl is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Mehl throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Mehl pushes his forearm into Skare's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Skare's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Skare manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Skare feints a left, and then lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Skare pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mehl lands a right hook, left hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mehl closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Skare is on target with a left uppercut.  
Mehl lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DROPS SKARE!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Mehl!
