Damiano Leotta vs Nico Verratti

Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Gianluigi Cingari Gym, Palermo,  taking place on 27/04/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Damiano Leotta (7 - 6) who hails from Catania, Italy and Nico Verratti(6 - 10 - 4) from Catania, Italy.  Leotta weighed in at 115 pounds, while Verratti weighed in at 114 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rocco Galati, and the three ringside judges are Fabrizio Valdifiori, Rocco Galati and Giorgio Lamberti.  

Round 1: 

Verratti is looking to close the distance.  As Leotta tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Verratti has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
