Rex Kirikiri vs Sean Bridgeforth

Boxing Daily Report from the Skol Promotions promoted show at Auckland Stackpoole, Auckland,  taking place on 02/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rex Kirikiri (10 - 5(1) - 1) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Sean Bridgeforth(14 - 5) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Kirikiri and Bridgeforth weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Declan Haturini, and the three ringside judges are Mike Scroggins, Clinton Martie and Nathan Aiton.  

Round 1: 

Kirikiri steps inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Kirikiri steps away from his opponent.  Bridgeforth tries to land a cross, but Kirikiri blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kirikiri switches the action to the outside.  Kirikiri sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Kirikiri switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Kirikiri advances into close range.  Bridgeforth lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Kirikiri lands two overhand rights followed by an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Kirikiri switches the action to the outside.  Bridgeforth quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kirikiri connects with an overhand right.  
Kirikiri drives a right hook into Bridgeforth's ribcage.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bridgeforth dabs at his face checking for damage.
