Lado Ampomah vs Dan Bamfokwakye

Boxing Daily Report from the Lamptey Promotions promoted show at Accra Amartey, Accra,  taking place on 08/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana-Greater Accra Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lado Ampomah (4 - 6 - 2) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Dan Bamfokwakye(4 - 6 - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ampomah and Bamfokwakye weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keshawn Abadamloora, and the three ringside judges are Bilal Haider, Razi Adusei and Richie Buah.  

Round 1: 

Bamfokwakye sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Bamfokwakye connects with a cross.  
Bamfokwakye pivots to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Bamfokwakye walks Ampomah onto the ropes.  Ampomah is on target with a jab.

Ampomah is looking to close the distance and manouvers Bamfokwakye into a corner.  Bamfokwakye throws a left hook, but Ampomah ties up his opponent.  Ampomah pushes his forearm into Bamfokwakye's face.  The referee warns Ampomah and breaks the clinch.

Ampomah throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Bamfokwakye time to recover.
