Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Place Bell, Laval,  taking place on 09/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Telford de Vigny (12(10) - 0) who hails from Quebec City, Canada and Marcel Ledoux(2 - 1 - 1) from Montreal, Canada.  de Vigny weighed in at 140 pounds, while Ledoux weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Morton, and the three ringside judges are Henry Popkin, Prewitt Gedeon and Phil Pearce.  

Round 1: 

de Vigny digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.

de Vigny advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the punch.  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  de Vigny leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
de Vigny is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
de Vigny digs in a right hook to Ledoux's body.  de Vigny holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
de Vigny switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  
de Vigny gets on the inside.  de Vigny pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
de Vigny gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into Ledoux's body.  
de Vigny sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
de Vigny is on target with a sharp right hook.  
de Vigny lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
de Vigny lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
de Vigny senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ledoux and just needs the right shot.  de Vigny lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, KNOCKING LEDOUX DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Ledoux now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

de Vigny pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
de Vigny digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Ledoux walks de Vigny down, trapping him on the ropes.  de Vigny lands a right hook to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
de Vigny tries to keep the action at long range.  de Vigny drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Ledoux tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
de Vigny advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
de Vigny is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  de Vigny is on target with a weighty right uppercut to Ledoux's body.  LEDOUX IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Ledoux has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Ledoux's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ledoux's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Ledoux's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Ledoux closes the distance.  de Vigny throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  de Vigny ties up his opponent.  de Vigny uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ledoux behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns de Vigny to stop fouling.  
de Vigny lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
de Vigny forces Ledoux to back into the ropes.  de Vigny whips in a mean right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE LEDOUX WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ledoux almost instantly recovers. 
de Vigny lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
de Vigny drives a potent left hook into his opponents body.  LEDOUX IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
de Vigny advances into close range.  Ledoux tries to land a left hook, but de Vigny slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
de Vigny closes the distance and lands a hurtful left hook.  LEDOUX WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ledoux could be stopped here, if de Vigny can find the right shot!  de Vigny lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS LEDOUX DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
de Vigny sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ledoux attempts to land a left hook, but de Vigny sidesteps and counters with a SAVAGE right uppercut.  LEDOUX IS DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is de Vigny!
