Dave Arnot vs Mel Eccles

Boxing Daily Report from the CP Boxing promoted show at Georgetown Kinnard, Georgetown,  taking place on 14/05/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Dave Arnot (15(2) - 9(1)) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Mel Eccles(13 - 7(1) - 3) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Arnot weighed in at 175 pounds, while Eccles weighed in at 174 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is David Pryce, and the three ringside judges are Chris Potts, Mark Firth and Malcolm Algeo.  

Round 1: 

Arnot lands with a stinging jab.
