Cris Sarangaya vs Fillipo Pollastrini

Boxing Daily Report from the ADR Boxing promoted show at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne,  taking place on 26/04/2035:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Cris Sarangaya (3(2) - 0) who hails from General Santos, Philippines and Fillipo Pollastrini(4 - 7(3)) from Perth, Australia.  Both Sarangaya and Pollastrini weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Collins, and the three ringside judges are John Kissick, Paul Lawrie and Callum Mairs.  

Round 1: 

Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Sarangaya ties up his opponent.  Sarangaya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sarangaya is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Pollastrini steps inside.  Sarangaya lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Sarangaya clinches his opponent.  Sarangaya is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Pollastrini steps inside.  Sarangaya lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND POLLASTRINI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Sarangaya ties up his opponent.  Sarangaya pushes his forearm into Pollastrini's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sarangaya is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Sarangaya hits home with a cross.  
Sarangaya manages to force Pollastrini into a corner.  Sarangaya lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Pollastrini wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sarangaya dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sarangaya digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Sarangaya hits home with a stiff jab.  
Pollastrini steps inside.  Sarangaya lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Pollastrini is looking to close the distance.  Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Sarangaya clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sarangaya gets on the inside and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Sarangaya holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Sarangaya pushes his forearm into Pollastrini's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sarangaya about fouling.  
Sarangaya sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Sarangaya is looking to close the distance.  Pollastrini digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Sarangaya ties up his opponent.  Sarangaya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Sarangaya uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pollastrini's kidney. Sarangaya uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pollastrini behind the head. Sarangaya throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Sarangaya lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Sarangaya is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  
Sarangaya lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sarangaya drives a solid right uppercut into Pollastrini's body.  
Sarangaya closes the distance and drives a firm left hook into Pollastrini's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pollastrini's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Pollastrini's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Sarangaya throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Sarangaya's body.  
Sarangaya drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Sarangaya forces Pollastrini to retreat into the corner.  Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Sarangaya digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Sarangaya lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Pollastrini wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sarangaya dabs at his face checking for damage.

Sarangaya lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS POLLASTRINI TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 4.

Sarangaya is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Sarangaya lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right uppercuts to the body, and one to the head, AND SENDS POLLASTRINI TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Pollastrini can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Sarangaya!
