Darryl Dorward vs Rex Deasmhumhain

Boxing Daily Report from the Jon Crosby promoted show at Olympic Park Sports Centre, Sydney,  taking place on 02/06/2035:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Dorward (9(4) - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Rex Deasmhumhain(14 - 17(2) - 3) from Brisbane, Australia.  Dorward weighed in at 229 pounds and 11 ounces, while Deasmhumhain weighed in at 237 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh MacMaster, and the three ringside judges are Kenzie Bianchi, Geoff Crafford and Tobias Straney.  

Round 1: 

Deasmhumhain switches the action to the outside.  Deasmhumhain quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Dorward hits home with a stinging cross.  Dorward attempts to land a cross, but Deasmhumhain sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dorward walks his opponent into the corner.  Dorward lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Dorward clinches his opponent.  Dorward is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Dorward pushes his forearm into Deasmhumhain's face.  The ref breaks Dorward's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Deasmhumhain tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Dorward advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS DEASMHUMHAIN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Dorward ties up his opponent.  Deasmhumhain hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Deasmhumhain almost instantly recovers.

Dorward gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Dorward lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dorward walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Dorward drives a sharp left hook into his opponents liver.  
Dorward lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dorward drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Dorward is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dorward pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Dorward steps inside and digs in a weighty left hook to his opponents liver.  DEASMHUMHAIN IS HURT!  
Dorward whips in a hurtful right hook to Deasmhumhain's body.  DEASMHUMHAIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Deasmhumhain now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Dorward lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Deasmhumhain's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Deasmhumhain throws a left hook, but Dorward ties up his opponent.  Dorward leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Deasmhumhain is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Deasmhumhain about fouling.
