Brendan Persley vs James McCall

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Ohio promoted show at Columbus Damrow, Columbus,  taking place on 21/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Persley (12(3) - 0) who hails from Savannah, USA and James McCall(0 - 4 - 1) from Nashville, USA.  Both Persley and McCall weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Fentress, and the three ringside judges are John Hogarth, Mark Cato and Daniel Bigner.  

Round 1: 

Persley gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Persley holds on to his opponent.  Persley leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Persley pivots to the left of his opponent.  McCall throws a right hook, but Persley clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Persley pushes his forearm into McCall's face.  The ref breaks Persley's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Persley leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  McCall steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
McCall sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Persley lands a jab.  
Persley is looking to close the distance.  McCall sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  McCall throws a right hook, but Persley ties up his opponent.  Persley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Persley closes the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.

Persley is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Persley lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND SENDS MCCALL TO THE CANVAS!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Persley!
