Matt Heaven vs Ian Potts

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Vector Arena, Auckland,  taking place on 30/06/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the New Zealand Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matt Heaven (20(13) - 4) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Ian Potts(19(11) - 3(3)) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Heaven weighed in at 234 pounds and 5 ounces, while Potts weighed in at 227 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Booth, and the three ringside judges are Brin Stackpole, Harvey Dorch and James Oakley.  

Round 1: 

Potts tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Heaven advances into close range and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Heaven lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Heaven is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Heaven pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  
Heaven gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Heaven lands a firm right uppercut.  
Potts tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Heaven lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES POTTS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Heaven senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Potts and just needs the right shot.  Heaven lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS POTTS TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Heaven!
