Aftab Iamam vs Imran Abbas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Port Said promoted show at Port Said Heshmat, Port Said,  taking place on 25/05/2035:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Port Said Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Iamam (10(8) - 1) who hails from Port Said, Egypt and Imran Abbas(11 - 2(2)) from Port Said, Egypt.  Both Iamam and Abbas weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zafa Ayub, and the three ringside judges are Zafa Ayub, Saad Debs and Waqar Jalali.  

Round 1: 

Abbas lands a left hook.  
Iamam throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Iamam holds on to his opponent.  Iamam is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Iamam.

Iamam closes the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Abbas almost instantly recovers.

Iamam closes the distance.  Abbas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Iamam digs in a sharp right hook to Abbas's body.

Abbas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Abbas attempts to land a left hook, but Iamam parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abbas pivots from in front of his opponent.  Abbas throws a right uppercut, but Iamam holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Iamam pushes his forearm into Abbas's face.  The referee warns Iamam and breaks the clinch.  
Iamam steps inside.  Abbas hits home with a right hook.  
Abbas attempts to land a cross, but Iamam blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Iamam sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Abbas attempts to land a jab, but Iamam sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Iamam closes the distance.  Iamam pivots to the left of his opponent.  Abbas lands a left uppercut.  
Iamam digs in a firm right hook to Abbas's ribcage.  
Abbas is looking to keep the action on the outside and throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Abbas steps away from his opponent.  Abbas drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Iamam connects with a solid cross.  Iamam attempts to land an overhand right, but Abbas blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Iamam closes the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Abbas in a neutral corner.  Iamam tries to land a left uppercut, but Abbas blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Iamam's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Iamam SLAMS a hurtful cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE ABBAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Iamam attempts to land a cross, but Abbas dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Iamam is looking to close the distance.  Iamam senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Abbas and just needs the right shot.  Iamam lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  He then lands two right hooks followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS ABBAS TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Abbas steps to the outside.  Iamam lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES ABBAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Iamam!
